Inaugural DIGITAfrica Workshop

On 24–25 April 2025, the University of Cape Town (UCT) hosted the inaugural DIGITAfrica bringing together over 60 participants, both onsite and online, for two days of collaborative dialogue, training, and technical demonstrations.

The event marked the official in-person launch of the DIGITAfrica project and was co-organized by UCT and Sorbonne University, with support from the SLICES-RI and SoBigData initiatives.
