DIGITAfrica is pleased to launch “Voices from DIGITAfrica: Empowering Women and the Next Generation of Digital Researchers”, a new interview series celebrating the experiences, achievements, and perspectives of women researchers and professionals across the consortium.

Through a series of conversations, the campaign will explore their academic and professional journeys, research interests, and visions for the future of Digital Sciences. By sharing these stories, DIGITAfrica aims to inspire the next generation of researchers, promote diversity and inclusion in science, and highlight the expertise and contributions of women driving innovation within the project.

The first interview is now available, featuring Joyce Mwangama, Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at the University of Cape Town. Discover her journey, research experiences, and reflections on empowering future generations of digital researchers here.
