The DIGITAfrica Community
Become part of a community shaping
the future of Africa’s research infrastructure
DIGITAfrica is laying the foundations for a next-generation research infrastructure to support data-intensive science, AI applications, and advanced digital experimentation across Africa; including 5G/6G networking, cloud–edge platforms, distributed testbeds, and large-scale data ecosystems.
Universities, research centers, laboratories, technoparks, enterprises, and student communities are eager to engage with this vision.
DIGITAfrica offers a structured yet flexible space for institutions and communities to follow the project, contribute insights, build capacity, and gain early access to partner platforms such as SoBigData+, SLICES, and other European research infrastructures.
